Our team is seeking a dependable self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You’ll join a close-knit, supportive team of professionals who collaborate to provide high-quality human resources support both internally and externally. Projects and job responsibilities will vary and could include working with talent acquisition, onboarding/offboarding, training and development, benefits, compensation, and employee relations. On a given day, you’ll:
Maintain employee personnel files for active and terminated employees in accordance with company policies and government regulations.
Aid with recruiting needs as necessary (coordinate interviews, posting of opportunities, disposition of candidates, onboarding of new hires, etc.)
Support benefit enrollment, terminations and billing
Assist with the creation and editing of e-learning courses
Update job descriptions and policies in the employee handbook.
Support in implementing a new performance management system.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
Strong organization skills and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to balance priorities and follow through.
Working towards a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
Ability to work effectively across all levels within the organization and to convey a positive and professional image both internally and externally to applicants.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, along with advanced Excel skills.
