Sr. Buyer, Indirect Category & Contract Management, Full-Time, Forks Twp, PA GENERAL SUMMARY: Develops, negotiates, and leads sourcing strategies that drive measurable improvements and results in the area of indirect spend IS, MRO, benefits, marketing, capital, consultants, licensing, logistics and other services. Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities to reduce costs in this category. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Determines and supports the sourcing, selection, and procurement of Indirect products and services. Negotiates Indirect contractual agreements for internal customers or project stakeholders. Develops commercial terms and conditions, contracts and agreements for the procurement of products and services while coordinating with legal counsel. Investigates, identifies and implements alternative sourcing options for agreements and services that may add extra value to Indirect Sourcing categories. Develops and maintains supplier relationships to ensure performance expectations and service level requirements while ensuring continuous improvement and the encouragement of innovative ideas. Analyzes economic market trends and changes in business practices that would affect Indirect categories. Collaborates with business partners from cross functional divisions on new agreements and contracts. Establishes standard costs; analyzes and problem solves purchase price variances against financial corporate standards to deliver exceptional business and financial results. Partners with Hallmark Legal to maximize returns and minimize business risks associated with Indirect categories, protect the brand. Maintains and ensures compliance of purchasing policies and practices to control procurement function. Participates and adheres to Hallmark's Supplier Diversity Program. Supports Crayola Experience merchandise purchasing. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Minimum six years' experience in a Sourcing, Contract Negotiation, or Supply Chain role or bachelor's degree in business management (Logistics/Supply Chain/Sourcing)/ Engineering/Project Management with minimum four years' experience in a Sourcing, Contract Negotiation, or Supply Chain role Strong analytical skills and project management skills and superb negotiation skills to interface with suppliers and internal management. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience in International sourcing and procurement is preferred. Knowledge of Engineering is beneficial. Knowledge of ERP systems and CPM is preferred. Demonstrated PC skills, Microsoft Office.
