We’re seeking a Dealership Bookkeeper (Paraprofessional 2) to join our us in our East Brunswick office location. As a Bookkeeper in our growing Dealership Industry Group, you'll work alongside an integrated team of seasoned, well-known industry leaders. In this position, you will perform a variety of tasks related to overseeing the management of financial records and ensuring accuracy while preparing detailed reports. How you’ll spend your time:Gathering and utilizing documents such as sales slips, invoices, receipts, checks, and other documents to verify and post details of business transactions to subsidiary accounts in appropriate ledgers and/or filesCompleting records and ensuring accuracy in a timely mannerCommunicating with clients and team members to ensure accurate financial information and addressing concerns promptlyMaintaining financial records through to the preparation of the trial balancePerforming reconciliation and balancing accountsCompiling reports to showcase statistics related to cash receipts, expenses, accounts payable, receivable, profit and loss, and other information related to business operationsCalculating employee wages from records or timecards and preparing payroll checksPerforming other duties as assignedThe kinds of people we want to talk to have many of the following:Knowledge of Dealership Management Systems (CDK, Reynolds, etc.)High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree in accounting is a plus.At least 2 years of prior experience working in the accounting department of a dealershipExcellent analytical skillsExceptional communication skillsAbility to perform various tasks in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environmentExcellent organizational, project management skills, and strong attention to detail
