This position entails working across all of our service locations throughout Europe as well as the whole EMEA region.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work as directed by the EMEA Service Manager

  • Adheres to company policies & procedures & work instructions

  • Inform manager of any issues / problems in a timely manner, which are outside your remit of control

  • Awareness of company communication, i.e. e-mails, etc

  • Be responsible for the care of company assets in the individuals possession

  • To undertake training as required

  • Ensure compliance with competence assessment systems

  • Flexibility to travel and lodge as required by the company

  • Comply with the Company Code of Conduct

Job Purpose:

  • Project installations

  • Install Technical and Service Bulletins

  • Carry out R&D prior to installations

  • Support Maintenance Department activities

  • Support field service activities within EMEA

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES/COMPETENCIES

  • Preferred recognised qualification in mechanical / electrical / maintenance engineering or a minimum of five years’ experience in an associated trade

  • Technical Skills e.g.

  • Knowledge & understanding in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, electronic, fault finding & repair

  • IT literate including basic knowledge of Microsoft systems

  • Understanding of rail plant operating systems

  • Role requirements e.g.

  • Full valid driving licence

  • PTS (Personal Track Safety) certificate

  • Ability to use & follow reference information to assist repairs

  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety, relevant to the role

  • Written & verbal communication skills
