Wieland is hiring a Breakdown Saw Operator. The Breakdown Saw Operator will be responsible for preparing the table saw machine to cut tubing. This role is located in Duncansville, PA. Starting Pay: $19.38 for 60-90 day training, then $24.24 Schedule: 2nd shift, 3p - 11p, after training on 1st shift, 7a - 3p Pay Schedule: Weekly
Responsibilities
Breakdown Saw Operator Responsibilities:
Prepares Table Saw Machine to cut tubing to required size listed on specification.
Operates equipment safely per standard operating procedure and initiates improvement to safe operations as appropriate. Interprets traveler tickets (production order sheets) to determine the necessary adjustments to make on the saw stop settings for required length and completes travel tickets. Produces material within prescribed tolerances using appropriate measuring device with focus on the "next customer" in a timely manner. Demonstrates proficiency in the various tasks identified on the machine's training evaluation form. Able to work various overtime as business needs require. Breakdown Saw Operator Qualifications: Pulling Pushing Standing Lifting Maintains thorough knowledge of equipment/machine specific SOP's & Quality Plan. Demonstrates proficient knowledge utilizing measuring devices.
