Job Description
As the Executive Director of Finance Transformation for Oracle ERP Cloud, you will play a pivotal role in representing the Office of Finance and influencing how Oracle Cloud is positioned in the market. This strategic leadership position requires you to work closely with Product Development, Product Marketing, and Sales teams to craft compelling messaging that highlights the business value of finance transformation capabilities , particularly for C-suite executives and senior finance leaders.
Shaping and Communicating Oracle's Messaging : Develop clear and impactful messaging that resonates with target audiences, articulating the value proposition of Oracle ERP Cloud and its AI/ML capabilities.
Stay Curent with AI/ML Innovations : Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in AI/ML within Oracle Cloud Applications, including the short-term development roadmap, long-term vision, competitive landscape, and broader industry trends.
Collaborate on Strategic Messaging : Work closely with Product Development and Product Marketing teams to craft innovative and differentiated messaging that goes beyond technical capabilities, clearly articulating the business value of AI/ML features within Oracle ERP Cloud, especially for the Office of the CFO.
Create Engaging Demonstrations : Partner with Product Development and Demo Services to design impactful demonstrations that highlight key AI/ML themes, effectively showcasing the real-world business value of Oracle’s innovations to prospects and customers.
Communicate Business Value : Support sales across industry verticals by presenting the compelling business benefits of AI/ML within Oracle ERP Cloud to senior executives during briefings, customer visits, and strategic sales opportunities, tailoring messaging to resonate with high-level audiences.
Serve as a Key Evangelist : Act as a passionate advocate for Oracle ERP Cloud, promoting its benefits and capabilities within the industry.
Enable Sales and Solution Engineering Teams : Leverage insights gained as the primary ERP Cloud AI/ML evangelist to develop and deliver targeted enablement programs for the ERP Solution Engineering and Sales teams.
Provide Strategic Feedback : Regularly share feedback with Product Development and Product Marketing based on customer interactions, using insights to refine future product roadmaps and enhance messaging strategies.
In this role, you will ensure that Oracle remains at the forefront of innovation for the office of the CFO, driving digital transformation and enabling finance organizations to become more agile and responsive to market demands. Your leadership will be instrumental in helping Oracle's clients navigate the complexities of modern finance, leveraging insights and technology to foster growth and profitability.
Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA or MSc in Finance) is often preferred, especially for senior roles.
• Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) can be a strong advantage.
Professional Experience:
• 10+ years of experience in finance, with at least 5-7 years in leadership roles managing teams, strategic planning, or finance transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience in finance transformation projects, such as leading or managing initiatives that improve financial systems, processes, reporting, or controls.
• Proven track record in leading change management efforts and large-scale transformations within the finance function.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and financial reporting tools is highly desirable.
• Expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial modeling, and performance management.
Leadership & Management Skills:
• Strong leadership capabilities to manage cross-functional teams, build consensus, and drive change.
• Experience in stakeholder management, including working with senior leadership, external consultants, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to strategically align financial transformation goals with the broader business objectives.
• Exceptional communication skills to clearly convey transformation goals, progress, and results to executives, team members, and external parties.
• Proven ability to develop and mentor high-performing teams.
S trategic and Analytical Thinking:
• In-depth knowledge of financial best practices, industry standards, and evolving trends in finance transformation.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions that drive cost savings or process improvements.
• Experience in designing and implementing process improvements and automation solutions to streamline financial operations.
Project Management Skills:
• Strong project management abilities, including experience with managing large, cross-functional projects and working with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve transformation goals.
Change Management Expertise:
• Demonstrated success in leading organizational change in the finance function, including adopting new technologies, processes, or systems.
• Ability to navigate and drive transformation in a complex, dynamic environment.
Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and champion the transformation vision.
• High level of emotional intelligence to handle complex and sensitive organizational dynamics.
Industry Experience:
• Industry-specific experience (e.g., financial services, healthcare, technology) can be an added advantage depending on the organization’s focus.
The Executive Director of Finance Transformation is a senior leadership role requiring a combination of advanced financial expertise, proven leadership experience in managing large-scale transformation projects, and strong strategic thinking capabilities.

Responsibilities
Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $138,900 to $232,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 60/40.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
