CACI is looking for an experienced Technical Writer in support to the SOUTHCOM customer in Doral, Florida.
The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. Typical duties include:
Write enterprise, system-level documentation including design documents, Installation build guides, release notes, and online user help
Work closely with instructional designers and others to create and maintain user and administrator documentation for software applications
Gather requirements, facilitate meetings, and conduct documentation reviews
Translate business strategies, customer expectations, and requirements into detailed narratives, specifications, flowcharts, and process flows
Research and test web applications to gather content and confirm documentation accuracy
Prepare written content and diagrams to articulate complex COTS and GOTS information for varied audiences
Participate in Standards Development for documentation
Participate in 90-day transition-in activities to support the drafting of deliverables, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or other artifacts as needed
Submit effective and concise communications regarding issues, risks, objectives, and initiatives
Ability to handle complex tasks
Possess and apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
Operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Currently hold an adjudicated Top-Secret/SCI Clearance and be able to maintain.
BA/BS plus 5 years’ experience
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
IAM/IAT Level I Certification
Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs
Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards
Experience with DoD IT security requirements
This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$47,100-$96,500
