Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and lead end-to-end logistics solutions to achieve required on-time pickup and delivery of goods. Manage logistics costs to meet budgets and operational plans. Expand knowledge within one's technical discipline to execute policies and strategies. This may involve support roles with specialized technical fields, while still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills.
Demonstrate knowledge of INCO-TERMS, LC deals, drop shipments, and related import and export documentation in Bangladesh. Possess a basic understanding of key business drivers and utilize this understanding to accomplish assigned tasks. Have a clear understanding of how the work of one's team integrates with other teams and contributes to the overall area.
Possess some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolve issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consult more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions or parameters.
Roles at this level necessitate good interpersonal skills and may require leading a junior team. For customer-facing roles, develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between the customer and GE. Explain technical information to others effectively.
Responsibilities include monitoring warehousing operations, inventory management, conducting stock audits, adhering to local laws in generating shipping documents, and possessing fair knowledge about regional laws related to legal metrology, drug licensing, and taxation.
Review key performance indicators with third-party logistics service providers. Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) and regional policies during the scrapping process. Work with sourcing in vendor selection and adhere to local EHS regulations.
Collaborate with the business to plan last-mile logistics and execution. Provide support for projects and oversee reverse logistics for both finished goods and spare parts. Act as a single point of contact for all digital-related projects in the Bangladesh region.
Meet on-time delivery targets for both finished goods and spare parts. Conduct monthly and quarterly reviews with transporters on key delivery performance, on-time delivery, and safe handling. Verify transporter bills and manage vendor payments in a timely manner.
Submit proof of delivery documents promptly for both finished goods and spare parts. Adhere to document retention policies and handle insurance claims for damaged shipments. Conduct delivery audits as necessary to ensure consignments are delivered safely

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in handling Warehousing , Logistics and export activities
Good experience with regional laws and regulations for exports
Desired Characteristics
Knowledge on custom clearance and relevant documentation
Analyze and timely submission of vendor bills
Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
