Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-directed Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client's accounting team in Des Moines, IA. This individual will play a key role in processing invoices, managing vendor relationships, and supporting accounts payable functions. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, be comfortable working independently, and have experience using accounting software like Microsoft Office and Logic.
Responsibilities:
Entering deposits and invoices into Logic, an industry-specific accounting system designed for the print industry.
Managing vendor relationships, including onboarding and answering inquiries.
Handling vendor account information with exceptional attention to detail.
Performing basic Excel tasks related to accounts payable.
Supporting check runs as needed.
AP reconciliation.
Cross-training to support other areas in accounting as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Previous experience in accounting and accounts payable processes.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software. Experience with Logic is a plus.
Basic Excel skills (e.g., data entry, sorting, formatting).
Self-starter who can work independently without micromanagement.
Experience entering deposits is preferred.
