Amerisafe Sales Associate in DeRidder, Louisiana
Overview
AMERISAFE is seeking a detail-oriented, productivity driven professional to add to our “Excellence Team” based in DeRidder, LA. The Sales Associate is the independent agency contact geared for premium production and submission activity. This position establishes and maintains effective relationships with agents and meets the corporate objectives for assigned states and regions.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Basic typing and computer skills
Professional written and verbal communication
Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, multi-tasking, data entry and decision-making skills
Professional comportment with a strong sense of customer service
Experience in a customer service or call center position is preferred
Must be detail oriented and dedicated to quality task completion

Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and maintain agency relationships through weekly contact of assigned agents
Average of 70 agency calls per week to engage in a productive conversation with the workers’ comp producer/CSR of any agency
Record agent contacts, including phone calls, letters and emails, in the customer relationship management (CRM) system
Assist when needed for projects concerning Geaux
Assist in team efforts, training and filling as needed
Maintain confidentiality
This position may require additional duties to be assigned
