Responsibilities
Is the immediate supervisor of the dispatch center for the shift that he or she is assigned to, and assists the Dispatch Coordinator and Manager with the day-to-day operations of the EMS Dispatch Center. This includes, but is not limited to, vehicle upkeep, communications equipment and EMS equipment maintenance, and supply stock assisting with the EMS Field Supervisor.
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
Current and valid New Jersey Department of Health EMT-B or MICP Certification.
Current and valid Healthcare Provider ? BLS CPR card.
Valid Driver's License.
CEVO certification ? must obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 year period
Five years of experience as a EMT preferred.
Two years of dispatch experience preferred.
Good driving record
Current and Valid PHTLS or TCC Card (EMT only)
ICS 100, 200,300, 700 and 800 or must obtain within 1 year of hire
