PepsiCo Process Utilities And Facilities - Leader in Denver, Colorado

Overview Be part of the team to support a successful transition from the current M&W plant in downtown Denver to the new State-of-the-Art Facility, High Point. High Point will be PepsiCos largest and most sustainable plant and will serve as a model for future operations. This is an exciting opportunity for Leaders who are passionate about innovation, working with the latest technology and equipment that will provide a modern and efficient work environment. This role is responsible for people and team development, motivating the team and ensuring quality performance. Responsibilities include cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire business unit across all shifts. This position is responsible for leading a team that will maintain the process equipment, utility systems and facilities. The role will be key in the support of sustaining the facility Resource Conservation program focused on achieving site greenhouse gas emission, water use efficiency, zero landfill, and cultural pep+ goals.The role will also be focused on process equipment reliability with a goal of zero downtime. This requires leading a team to maintain, operate, and optimize critical water and energy systems and serving as a subject matter expert in various utilities.

Responsibilities * Lead maintenance and continuous improvement programs related to water treatment and reverse osmosis (RO) systems, cooling towers, CIP systems, boilers, condensate return, biogas, heat pump, heat recovery, refrigeration, solar PV, compressed air, electrical systems, HVAC, wastewater, production batch process equipment, etc. * Support water usage ratio and electrical usage ratio to drive the most sustainable facility in the PBNA system * Support safety initiatives and environmental control programs to ensure we are in compliance * Collaborate closely with the Quality Control Department to reduce water utilization within the manufacturing plant * Support sustainability management of the site, attending period data reviews, developing tactics list, and annual operating plans * Manage a team of facility mechanics that own the physical building, yard management (landscaping, snow removal, etc) * Ability to work with contractors to meet Pepsi standards * Drive a culture of sustainability in all aspects throughout the site * Identify and implement capital projects of significant complexity that reduce water, energy, and waste * Develop and mentor team members to ensure their continued capability growth * Develop yourself and utility teams to solve and manage the day-to-day operational issues and reach short-term and long-term performance goals * Deliver effective change leadership - driving business changes while minimizing people impact * Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist teams to solve operational issues * Understand the fundamental tools & methodologies of the following TPM pillars Safety, FI, AM, PM and EM * Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills through leading meetings, facilitating meetings, and preparing written plant communicationsCompensation and Benefits: * The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650 based on a full-time schedule. * Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary. * Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. Qualific tions * Engineering degree (BS) from an accredited university and a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, utilities management, sustainability, or a closely-related field * Experience with heat recovery, heat pumps, refrigeration, aseptic processing, biogas, and steam systems preferred. * Experience with RO water treatment, advanced water recovery technology, CIP, cooling tower, and reuse water systems preferred. * Self-motivated, results-driven and action-oriented * Ability to make independent and sound decisions * Ability to conduct assessments and audits and evaluate to measure progress * Effective oral and written communication skills * Understanding of finance principles * Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications * Ability to give and receive constructive feedback * Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision making * Ability to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced, challenging environment * Strong leadership with the ability to get results through mentoring others * Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills
