Job Purpose and Overview The People Business Partner is a critical role to drive change and create value within the team. Driving People organization and services, this role will have a defined focus on driving efficiency and positively impacting our teams. As a People Business Partner, this role is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full-cycle Human Resources support to the Denver Manufacturing Facility and supporting teams. This role will be a knowledgeable and committed resource, driving positive impact by working closely with leaders to build teams that can achieve our business vision, while staying true to our Dawn culture.

This is a 100% onsite position at our Denver, CO facility.

What will you do as a People Business Partnerat Dawn Foods? Assist with difficult matters including people or Team Member issues, investigations, performance improvement plans, and terminations. Develop, lead, and execute strategic human resource initiatives that are in-line with business objectives to drive results while ensuring alignment with corporate direction, strategic initiatives, and human resources best practices (e.g., talent acquisition, development, and training; team member engagement; talent management; performance management; legal compliance; compensation; benefits policies and practices). Drive innovation to solve problems, identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness, and deliver a high level of HR service. Hands-on approach with understanding the population as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of team members to ensure a high level of employee engagement. Lead the Performance Management process for Leaders to identify team member development needs and support the process by up-skilling/ raising awareness amongst team members and leaders to build bench strength. Conduct and facilitate Talent Review process, participate in talent reviews for North America, and conduct appropriate talent follow-up. Assures compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws within the region. Support leadership to recruit, retain, develop, and optimize performance and engagement of individuals and teams. Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments (such as Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Operations) and key stakeholders to align HR initiatives with organizational goals, ensuring seamless integration of HR strategies across the business. Demonstrates the "Dawn Values" of Team Dawn and supports the Dawn Circle of Excellence. Performs other related duties as assigned and requested. Supports the engagement of business leaders in Diversity & Inclusion efforts by driving specific components of the Diversity & Inclusion plan & ensures the integration of such activities into all standard HR processes and procedure Work with leaders to assess the overall current and future resource and talent levels across the department and determine short-, medium- and long-term strengths, gaps and needs, incorporating diversity.

What Does It Take to be a People Business Partnerat Dawn Foods? Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Labor Relations, or other related business field with 5 plus years' experience requir PHR or other relevant certifications arepreferred. Ability to work in a busy manufacturing environment under high pressure and time constraints. Must be adept/knowledgeable in managing HRIS systems and processes and equally have the skillset of compiling data sets out of those systems that can be reviewed and interpreted by regional leadership. Must be experienced and adept in interpreting & escalating issues to the proper leadership tracks for rapid intervention. Previous experience or knowledge of basic talent acquisition procedures. Ability to leverage strong interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations at varying levels of the organization; including but not limited to senior leadership. Strong ability to be a self-starter and takes initiative to perform duties independently as well as in a team. Proven ability to motivate teams, manage conflict, and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times. Strong reasoning, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to understand the likely consequences of implications of actions or events. Ability to present effectively in diverse circumstances. Ability to conceive ideas, patterns, or relationships from limited data. Strong attention to detail.
