The Convera USA LLC in Denver, CO has the following opening for an Associate Quality Assurance.
Job description: Design test scenarios and test cases that demonstrate conformance to all functional non-functional requirements. Define testing approach and provide advice on prioritization of testing activities in support of identified risks in project schedules or test scenarios. Document results of tests for software development team. Create test scripts using Gherkin language. Perform functional and regression testing. Perform Sanity and smoke testing and share artifacts with all stakeholders. Analyze bugs and errors found during testing. Review user story backlog and requirement specifications for completeness and provide recommendations. Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience and in automation framework.
Position allows for partial remote work (2-3 times in the office). Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Denver, CO.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field of study. Requires 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor's related experience. Must have some experience in each of the following skills: Programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, VB-Script, TestNG and Junit; Project management tools such as Jira or Rally; Agile methodologies and SCRUM ceremonies; Test automation tools (Selenium or (HP-UFT, REST-Assured, and POSTMAN)); Data validation and building queries in Couchbase and MS SQL; Developing scripts using build management tool Maven for Behavior Driven Development Framework using Cucumber tool and continuous integration tool Jenkins; Code management or versioning tools such as GITHUB.
Salary: $128,398 - $140,000 / year
