Emerson Senior FP&A Analyst in DEBRECEN, Hungary
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Interact with global operations and finance leadership.
Provide support in the development of strategic plans for the function
Challenge assumptions made in the financial plans and investments are aligned
Provide financial guidance to global operations management and work with them and their teams to help ensure efficient business processes
Financially advise process improvements, give guidance in specific cases
Provide proactive support in decision making process for the group:
Create proactively analysis, forecasts, projections
Support investment analysis and modeling
Look for new solutions, highlight new areas for cost savings
Support reporting needs of leadership
Participate on management meetings.
Providing inputs to month end close or quarterly close
Ensure controls and procedures are properly followed
Monitoring operating expenses versus budget/target
Supporting Budgeting process
Participating and supporting projects or different initiatives
Improve efficiency within area of working, use tools and methods supporting CI initiatives.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office- and BI analysis tools to deliver actionable insights
Develop broad functional expertise and company knowledge
Partner and build relationships with other internal organizations (Business Operations, Treasury, FP&A, Accounting, Tax, etc.) to provide financial advice and identify financial planning opportunities resulting from business processes or operational changes
Who You Are: NI is hiring a Senior FP&A located at Debrecen, Hungary. As Senior FP&A, you will will be member of the Global Operations Finance Organization and responsible for support your business partners and manage financial analysis. As part of the position you will have an important connector role within the organization to secure advanced business support globally by being connected and integrated into the team.
The role is highly visible and provides the successful candidate the following opportunity:
Be an integral partner in NI’s business decisions to enhance shareholder value by delivering finance business partnering for NI Global Operations organization with multiple manufacturing sites, a wide breadth of products and services.
Participate in NI’s Global Operations strategical discussions to define initiatives, projects and contribute in executions.
Research, analyze, and interpret competitors’ or other relevant financial or manufacturing related data. Clearly summarize and communicate research, recommendations, and potential impact on business results.
For This Role, You Will Need:
Strong business acumen and technical FP&A skills.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work in a global team environment, led by influence, and be driven to meet customer needs while driving operational efficiencies
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Costing knowledge at manufacturing environment
FP&A Experience at a multinational company
6+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or 4+ years with a Master's or PhD, or equivalent direct experience.
Experience with the larger team on development and implementation of tools and processes.
