ATKORE Technician I Maintenance in DE PERE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Maintenance Technician I Who we are looking for: We are currently searching for a Maintenance Technician to be based out of De Pere, WI. Reporting to Maintenance Supervisor, this person will be responsible for performing maintenance service and repairs in the areas of mechanical and electrical parts and equipment. This person will also safely operate cranes, fork trucks, lifts and apply safe rigging. What you\'ll do: Maintenance Technician\'s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Apply all lock out tag out procedures during repairs. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery. Operate cutting torch and welding equipment. Possess knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. What you\'ll bring: Training in vocational schools or related on the job experience. Previous work experience preferred or four years of apprenticeship. Ability to troubleshoot and provide correct measures to possible issues. Within 3 months, you\'ll: Have an understanding of Atkore\'s Business System and its impact on production. Develop relationships with key stakeholders within the plant. Complete initial training to understand how mills operate.
