Job Overview

Kelly Engineering is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our client in De Pere, WI. As an Electrical Engineer you will design, develop, and oversee the installation and operation of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and utility applications. This role supports the design and production of electrical switchgear and power generation products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and evaluate electrical systems, components, and applications.

  • Utilize engineering software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) for design and analysis.

  • Develop and test electrical products, ensuring compliance with codes and customer requirements.

  • Oversee installation, maintenance, and documentation of electrical systems.

  • Provide engineering support to manufacturing, sales, and procurement teams.

  • Investigate customer issues, determine root causes, and recommend solutions.

  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.

  • Stay current with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • 3+ years of relevant experience.

  • Knowledge of NEC standards, control logic, and power generation/protection.

  • Proficiency or willingness to learn AutoCAD/SolidWorks and PDM.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with LV/MV switchgear, diesel genset applications, or related fields.
