Job Number: R0200730 System Administrator The Opportunity: Your technical expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. We're looking for a System Administrator to help us design, deploy, and maintain cross domain solutions for an enterprise environment. You'll install systems on dedicated infrastructure, ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available, and update and patch critical systems. As a Linux System Administrator on our project, you'll constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies. You'll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. You'll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. You Have: 5+ years of experience with systems administration 3+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS Experience managing virtual machines and VMware ESXi Knowledge of Linux firewalls, networking configuration, and DNS Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam Bachelor's degree in an IT field Ability to obtain DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of start date Nice If You Have: Experience with AWS Experience managing systems using Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Salt, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform Knowledge of bi-directional network transfer systems DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
