Manufacturing Engineering Intern - Fall Semester Location: DAYTON, OH, United States Job Family : Engineering Job Type : Regular Posted : May 31, 2024 Job ID: 49319 Back to Search Results Job Description Apply Now > Save Job Job Saved The intern is responsible for performing duties related to reviewing, assessing, updating and improving system documentation in the Dayton Facility production areas. * Partner with Engineering & Operations to create new Machining Instructions * Review and validate current Machining Instructions and make updates as required * Support 3D printing initiatives * Collaborate with Quality to ensure Machining Instruction inspection requirements are aligned with other system documentation * Assist with data gathering to support capabilities analysis of part key characteristics * Support departmental and plant continuous improvement activities and assigned projects * All other duties as assigned COMPETENCIES REQUIRED REQUIRED * Ability to manage multiple, fluid priorities and proactively address business demands in a fast-paced environment * Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint * Strong organizational and time management skills * Strong attention to detail * Able to communicate effectively with management, and co-workers to promote strong working relationships and create an environment focused on teamwork * Flexible with work and job assignments and willing to perform any function as needed * Self-motivated and ability to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED * Pursuit of Bachelor's Degree in technical curriculum PREFERRED * Experience in Engineering Manufacturing * Working knowledge of GD&T and metrology Parker is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
