Essential Duties and Responsibilities In support of the Mobility Aircraft Directorate and apply knowledge of electrical engineering in support of electrical power systems, avionics subsystem definition, development, integration, all verification methods, sustainment, modeling/simulation, testing and evaluation, and airworthiness certification across a wide range of hardware and software systems. The Contractor shall support AIMS requirements, testing, certification, and spectrum management requirements and certification. Use knowledge of communications and navigation system requirements, policies, and regulations to assist in defining requirements, completing compliance matrices, and supporting testing and certification of aircraft and supporting systems. Five (5) years of experience in Government Acquisitions. Education and Experience Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience. Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited school and fifteen (15) years of related experience.five(5) years of which must be in the DoD Master's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited school and twelve (12) years of related experience.five(5) years of which must be in the DoD Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours. Other Position Requirements: Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position. Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation. Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Must be willing to travel up to 15% of the time.
