Topgolf Sr. Software Engineer, Unity in Dallas, Texas
Topgolf is searching for a Senior Unity Developer with Android mobile application development experience to help design and develop a mobile application that will elevate the guest experience at our venues. Your primary focus will be on leveraging your Unity development skills and understanding of mobile game development to create immersive experiences. You will collaborate with a close-knit team of engineers, designers, and product managers to build the next generation of mobile products for Topgolf.
Job Responsibilities
Develop a native Android customer-facing application that interfaces with Topgolf venue technologies
Develop AR experiences in Unity for the Android platform
Influence quality and architecture of code as well as design of features
Collaborate closely with an independent team to conceptualize features and see them through development, release, and future iterations
Critical Skills & Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
5+ Years Unity game development
3+ Years Android Development experience
3+ Years Java programming experience
3+ Years Kotlin programming experience
5+ Years C# programming experience
Strong proficiency in Unity development
Has shipped at LEAST one title using Unity
Mobile game development experience in Unity a plus
Solid understanding of 3D graphics principles and rendering pipelines used in Unity game development
Experience with VR/AR development in Unity is a plus
Experience developing Android mobile apps
Expertise in C#, Java, and Kotlin
Experience working directly with designers and product managers
Excellent problem-solving skills and judgment
Proficient in debugging
Extreme attention to detail, driving for pixel perfection and performance
Highly-motivated self-starter with a passion for making high quality software
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Committed to a great user experience
Strong sense of ownership and drive
Positive, enthusiastic attitude with ability to interact with cross-departmental groups
