Job Description:
The Speech Neuroscience Lab invites applications for a Speech-Language Pathologist ( SLP ) to enroll research participants, administer communication/cognitive assessments and treatment protocols, and collect and manage data on multiple grant projects. The successful applicant will work with minimal supervision once training is complete.
The SLP will be involved in research participant enrollment and screening, behavioral data collection, and overseeing EEG and MRI data acquisition. This position will also be responsible for the organization of behavioral data and coordinating regulatory materials and IRB -related documentation that will be part of these projects. The Speech-Language Pathologist position will be supervised by the Associate Directors of the Speech Neuroscience Lab.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Communication Disorders and two years of clinical experience. In addition, the successful candidate must possess the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology ( CCC – SLP ) and hold a Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Preferred Qualification – TX State Licensure
