  • ​This job is a member of the Flight Training Team within the Integrated Operations Division.

  • ​Responsible for the planning, scheduling and administration of Ground School and Simulator Training for all line, Supervisory and Management pilots, in addition to all currency requirements in compliance with Company and Federal Regulations. The position is also responsible for the planning and scheduling of all available training facilities to accomplish such training in the most productive and cost effective way.

What you'll do

  • Manage daily schedule for pilots and Instructor/Evaluators

  • Schedule pilots and Instructor/Evaluators for daily and future training events

  • Schedule training classrooms and devices for required training events

  • Monitor and update correct pilot currency and qualifications, as appropriate

  • Coordinate appropriate FAA personnel to conduct required simulator observations and training

  • Ensure timely updating of training schedule changes, qualifications and other data into applicable databases and programs (I.e. Maarfle, TMS and FOS)

  • Accomplish other tasks as assigned by the Manager, Flight Training Schedules

  • Future responsibilities may involve covering shifts in Flight Standards after appropriate training

  • ​Leads daily operation of pilot qualifications

  • Monitors and fully administers currency for line pilots

  • Monitors and fully administers Check Airmen schedules on a daily basis, ensuring adequate coverage

  • Coordinates FAA involvement in required simulator training periods

  • Coordinates with Crew Schedule to provide Check Airmen as required

  • Updates Check Airman and pilot–in-training data and schedules in a variety of applications, databases and FOS

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule; weekends and Holidays included

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​High School diploma or GED equivalency

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience/training

  • 1 year Flight Training Scheduling experience

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • ​Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access

  • Working knowledge of APA (pilots) and TWU (Flight Crew Training Instructors and Simulator Pilots) bargaining agreements to properly manage schedules

  • Understand applicable Federal Aviation Regulations

  • Knowledge of FOS/CREWS

  • Ability to be detail oriented; able to effectively manage shifting priorities

  • Ability to be reliable and dependable

  • Ability to accept ownership, responsible and accountable for all functional obligations needing little or no supervision
