Requirements and Description ERMC is seeking a General Technician. The selected candidate will be responsible for but not limited to: * Assist electrical, HVAC, and plumbing technicians * Be able to perform scheduled and non-scheduled preventative maintenance tasks * Monitor HVAC airflow and distribution in Terminals * Change HVAC filters * Maintain, repair, and replace electrical motors * Maintain, repair, and replace water and hydraulic pumps * Diagnose and resolve electrical, HVAC, and plumbing issues that may arise * Ensure the proper use of all tools for cutting, bending, and welding of equipment * Carryout detailed evaluation of equipment to ensure they are in good condition for proper use * Carryout repairs on ceilings, floors, and walls by combining plaster of spackle and paint * Inspect equipment such as refrigerators and air conditioners from time to time for proper cleaning, speed, temperature, and adequate lubrication * Repair and change locks in the building and perform complex lock servicing to ensure maximum safety of all people Qualifications: * Knowledge of electricity, carpentry, and plumbing among other technical skills. * Excellent ability to communicate system problems to both co-workers and management for proper understanding * Exhibit good mechanical skills to handle equipment to avoid causing injuries to self and others on the ground. * Can evaluate computer-related work orders following accuracy. * Provide all basic hand tools. Applicants may qualify by a combination of history and knowledge of the above-noted systems.
Standard qualifications: * Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Completing * Must possess a Government ID and social security card. * Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge. * Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation. * Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces * Able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check. * Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. * Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs. * Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
