WORK LOCATION: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231
WORK HOURS: Full time for 40 hrs. per week. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Associate degree in applied science required OR
Completion of accredited program in radiologic or cardiovascular technology required OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2 years of work experience in invasive cardiology required.
1-year radiologic technician experience w/out ARRT – CT required or
No experience w/ ARRT – CT
One year of experience preferred
ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologist upon hire required or
RCIS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist upon required or
RCES – Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist upon hire or
CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist if ARRT upon hire and
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and
ACLS—Advanced Cardiac Life Support—within 90 days required
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Imaging Quality and Processing:
Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam.
Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations.
Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.
Correctly sends and transfers images to PACS.
