Description We are in search of an Assistant Controller for our team located in Dallas, Texas. The role involves handling key accounting functions and maintaining the integrity of financial records. As an Assistant Controller, you will be involved in the processing and analysis of financial data, facilitating audit procedures, and leading tax compliance efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the processing of customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.

• Ensuring the maintenance of accurate and updated customer credit records.

• Handling the monthly close activities, reconciliations, and journal entries related to investments, revenue, debt, and cash.

• Facilitating the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial packages ensuring timeliness and accuracy.

• Conducting monthly variance reviews through the development of relationships with Department Heads and Business Office Managers, maintaining open lines of communication.

• Preparing weekly cash analysis and flash reports.

• Leading the financial audit, tax compliance efforts, and other regulatory requests as needed.

• Providing training, development, and corrective action/coaching to direct reports.

• Identifying opportunities to enhance the timeliness, accuracy, and efficiency of business processes.

• Performing other duties as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential for effective financial management.

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions to ensure accurate financial operations.

• Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) to manage company's financial obligations.

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) to maintain positive cash flow.

• Familiarity with Billing Functions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.

• Experience in managing General Ledger, including posting entries and reconciling accounts.
