VectorCSP Information Assurance Program Analyst in Dahlgren, Virginia

Overview:

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) provides comprehensive and dedicated support to the Navy of research, development, test and evaluation, analysis, systems engineering, integration and certification of complex naval warfare systems and fleet support. Additional support for professional and operational support services is required as NSWCDD continues to provide the military with testing and certification by utilizing its Potomac River Test Range in Dahlgren, VA and provides fleet support at NSWCDD Dam Neck which is located in Virginia Beach, VA.

Job Summary:

P rovide Cybersecurity Administrative support to support day-to-day operations at NSWCDD .

Education and Experience:

  • Four (4) years of cybersecurity experience in a DoD or Federal Government environment, which shall include: entry and maintenance of compliance information on Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM) and other repositories and tracking systems; technical consultation on a variety of topics related to cybersecurity; review, verify and maintain accreditation records; assist in the development of cybersecurity reports; assist in reviewing and advising on completion of SAAR-N (Systems Authorization Access Request - Navy) forms, other SAAR Forms and similar forms from various entities and agencies; and assist in preparing orders for office supplies.

    Essential Duties:

  • P rovide Local Registration Authority (LRA) and Trusted Agent (TA) support including technical and administrative support in the issuance and use of public and private Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates and tokens (for unclassified and classified domains)

  • M aintain acknowledgement and input compliance information for NSWCDD in systems such as the Vulnerability Remediation Asset Management (VRAM) database

  • P repare and deliver training materials related to cybersecurity

  • R eview, verify, and maintain accreditation records

  • D evelop ad-hoc reports conveying information security and Cybersecurity data

  • I nput the data and other related information into required databases and other repositories

  • A ssist in reviewing and advising on completeness of Systems Authorization Access Network- Navy (SAAR-N) Forms

  • Acquire information from the cybersecurity branch personnel in order to prepare purchase requests for office supplies, including supplies for printers, copiers and multifunction devices

  • R eview and advise on letters and other requests for code-signing certificates

  • P repare for and participate in inspections, audits, evaluations

    Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • K nowledge in the areas of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography t o serve as a Local Registration Authority for NSWCDD
