This is an exciting opportunity to foster meaningful partnerships with podcast publishers and help them grow using ART19’s product suite. We are inventing and delivering solutions that solve critical problems for publishers of all sizes. You'll be collaborating with industry-leading podcast creators, helping them lean into audio innovation. You’ll spend time with partners to understand their businesses and discover how hosting, tools, and demand capabilities play a role in their success and elevate listening experiences for their audiences as well.
We are seeking an accomplished Sr Technical Business Development Executive to drive adoption of ART19’s technology services. You'll collaborate with the Head of Revenue to build personalized strategies for different customer types and execute dynamic plans to match. You'll maintain a deep understanding of ART19's technical capabilities and work closely with the product team to align business development efforts with the product roadmap. You will possess the technical ability to dive deep and understand our partners' challenges and opportunities. You'll be capable of effectively communicating complex SaaS concepts to these partners and translating their needs into actionable feedback and solutions. Additionally, your responsibilities will include identifying and targeting high-potential accounts, reaching out with creative and engaging messaging, and crafting proposals that resonate with each partner's specialized needs. This is a high-energy, individual contributor role where you'll have the chance to leave your mark on ART19's growth and success.
Key job responsibilities
In this role you will be the product expert with the technical prowess to facilitate complex partnerships. You’ll possess a comprehensive understanding of the audio and podcasting landscape, including SSP and DSP opportunities, and have a background in enterprise SaaS sales. You'll collaborate directly with podcast creators and define how ART19 will support their businesses. You will confidently and comfortably lead technical product demonstrations of our SaaS platform. With external inputs you’ll help guide our product and engineering organizations as we architect scalable solutions for enterprise podcasters. Additionally, you will play a role in developing new customer acquisition strategies for ART19.
Drive customer growth, conversion and retention of new (and existing) customers
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to match scalable technical solutions with business opportunities
Help define our go-to-market strategy and how we showcase our solutions to external and internal stakeholders
Create and deliver compelling demonstrations, identifying solutions on the fly to customer problems
Translate complex audio SaaS technologies to decision-makers who may be non-technical
Help define KPIs and internal mechanisms to communicate them to relevant stakeholders
Build and nurture relationships with podcast publishers and content creators
Analyze market trends and partner performance metrics
A day in the life
You'll navigate multiple responsibilities throughout your day - transitioning from strategic discussions with podcast publishers to collaborative sessions with our engineering team. You'll serve as the critical link between our technical capabilities and client needs, translating complex audio technology into clear, actionable insights. Your role will encompass delivering product demonstrations, relationship building, understanding customer requirements, and developing strategic solutions to drive partners success while delivering against our KPI's.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing
5+ years of front line SaaS technology sales experience and a demonstrable track record of success in development and implementation
Experience developing robust sales pipelines
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to create data-driven business cases, ROI models, and execute against complex sales cycles
Outstanding communication and presentation skills and experience effectively engaging with business leaders
Extensive technical product demonstration experience
Ability to translate marketplace feedback into product requirements and guide team direction
Advanced proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
5+ years of sales engineering experience
5+ years of business development experience in podcasting or streaming audio
Understanding of podcast production workflows, content management systems, and multi-platform distribution requirements (audio, video)
Knowledge of podcast distribution platforms (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube), emerging podcast technologies, and audio features
Experience developing spreadsheet models

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
