About the role

The Associate Manager, Continuous Operations role is under Remarkable Foods Hospitality, LLC.

  • Assist with the Production & Culinary Operations by creating the production schedule, ensuring production demand is balanced, and uploading all production demand to requisite systems.

  • Utilize industrial engineering processes to identify opportunities to streamline work, reduce waste and identify cost savings opportunities.

  • Follow DMAIC (Design, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) principles to support and participate in strategic initiatives across the organization.

  • Assist in identifying opportunities in the process workflow, plan improvement changes in process workflow, plan improvement changes in the current process, execute the changes in process and review how the changes are working for the teams.

  • Lead and participate in teams as they collaborate to help efficiencies and quality improvements.

  • Closely monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and processes to assist with development of cost reduction, capacity improvement strategies.

  • Assist Master Data Management department with macro Data structure, design, & process flow.

  • Optimize work, material, and information flows and processes.

  • Eliminate non-value-added activities, weak process designs, and improve internal and external customer satisfaction through sustainable processes.

  • Build various simulation, optimization and dynamic models to better guide key decisions and create templates and reports for re-occurring distribution.

  • Take steps to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of existing continuous improvement projects underway by modifying, eliminating, and accelerating as appropriate.

  • Continually communicate findings and opportunities for improvement.

  • Collect data and communicate performance standards for team members and consistently compare performance against the standards.

  • Interpret and apply required policies and procedures. Work with Forecasting & Restaurant GMs to ensure production demand and sequence is sense checked and correct on a daily basis.

  • Provide daily reporting around fulfillment percentage for the Production & Culinary Operation.

  • Support the development and improvements on applications throughout the organization. Support Operation Managers on resources, projects, status, and outcomes.

The experience you have

  • Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Engineering Management, Operations Research, or related field, plus 3 years professional experience as an Industrial Engineer, Associate Manager, or related occupation/position/job title involving industrial engineering.

  • Must also have the following special skills:

  • 3 years of professional experience using industrial engineering principles (including Time and Motion studies and workflow simulation) to continuously improve operational flows and facility layouts and creating and running formal training programs for using ERP Systems, including writing SOPs, writing user guides and holding training sessions

  • 3 years of professional experience applying knowledge of lean manufacturing principles

  • 3 years of professional experience performing statistical data analysis and data visualization to report on the performance of a manufacturing facility

  • 3 years of professional experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL)

  • 2 years of professional experience using an ERP system in a manufacturing facility to drive operational efficiencies

  • 1 year of professional experience utilizing manufacturing, supply chain, and warehousing modules and performing Production Scheduling/Planning

Base Salary Range:$105k - $120,750k

Partial telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to the Cranford, NJ location.
