This Manager, Global Nuclear Regulatory Affairs will report to the VP Global Nuclear Regulatory Affairs (GNRA) and will direct activities in support of Westinghouse business objectives globally. These will include the coordination and integration of activities within and between Global Nuclear Regulatory Affairs, the Business Units (BUs), and GOS facilities with nuclear licenses issued from their national regulators.

This role will be responsible for also provide regulatory leadership globally including support of the Westinghouse 10 CFR Part 21 program and Westinghouse licensed facilities and will be expected to act as expert knowledge resource of specific regulation, technology, or engineering position. In addition, this role will own, in collaboration with the VP GNRA in a variety of regulatory-related tasks involving governance and oversight of Westinghouse-regulated facilities including reporting indicators, development and maintenance of regulatory risk management tools, and interface with customers, regulators, and industry entities.

Your Day to Day: Review, oversee, and report relevant nuclear safety issues when required to the appropriate jurisdiction regulatory body, for US, 10 CFR Part 21 evaluations to the US NRC as appropriate. Provide oversight across all applicable global jurisdictions for new or changing regulations that may impact the WEC QMS-A. Provide counsel to Quality and Regulatory leadership to plan and execute necessary update. For the US, act as the primary point of contact for the US NRC to review and approve necessary updates. Serve as the primary Westinghouse communicator with the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission regarding QMS-related matters. Propose and support the projects and programs within the business for identification of improvement levers, setting appropriate objectives, and implementing excellence programs. With the support of VP GNRA, and collaboration with the business unit teams, define, and implement regulatory objectives and excellence programs. Execute Westinghouse's regulatory strategy and advance Westinghouse's priorities through direct and routine interactions with the US NRC. Develop and implement strategies to ensure Westinghouse has a strong relationship with the key regulators. Assist in the development and coordination of an applicable regulatory risk management tool. Develop procedures, processes, and methods for implementing regulatory requirements and for how Westinghouse will conduct licensing activities. Provide licensing and regulatory expertise to the BUs and GOS organizations to improve performance and regulatory margin. Maintain cognizance of the nuclear license and certification status of US-licensed facilities and assist Global Operating Services BU to ensure facilities remain licensed or certified to support Westinghouse's business needs. Coordinate working groups for nuclear licensed facilities to gather regulatory information and share regulatory operating experience. Interface with customers, regulators, and industry entities (e.g., NRC, NEI, PWROG) and participate in industry activities to ensure Westinghouse interests prevail and to maintain expertise on current licensing-related issues. Coordinate NRC visits and audits across Westinghouse. Identify and share best practices in nuclear regulatory affairs across GNRA. Maintain "good standing" of Westinghouse payment accounts with US NRC and other regulatory age cies. Support internal financial accrual process. Provide oversight of distribution of ADAMS public documents and their distribution. Perform requested regulatory research

Who You Are: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related sciences. Minimum of combined 10 years of working experience in nuclear regulatory , with working knowledge of 10 CFR Part 21, . Knowledge and experience in 10 CFR Part 21 and other NRC regulations. Knowledge of expectations and standards needed in a regulated nuclear environment.
