Job Title: Maintenance Technician Division: Manufacturing Department: Maintenance Reports To: Production Shift Supervisor FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Summary: Performs maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, production machinery, equipment, and grounds by performing the duties and responsibilities outlined below. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment 2. Diagnose and repair problems with machinery, equipment, and drive systems 3. Source and order parts and adhere to department budget 4. Install new parts 5. Repair hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems 6. Perform light fabrication, welding, electrical, and water and air plumbing 7. Communicate maintenance issues with management 8. Perform all duties per workstation SOP 9. Follow all safety procedures 10. Maintain a clean work area 11. Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Math Ability: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
