The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an Inventory Cycle Counter, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Provide inventory accounting and costing services of moderate complexity to 3M Cottage Grove.

• Provide support in responding to and addressing inventory-related questions/issues.

• Responsible for timely cycle counts and annual physicals.

• Support inventory closing operations for 3M Cottage Grove and keeping the Legacy system inventory ledger compliant with 3M standards.

• Support other activities necessary to achieve the organization’s objectives of business transformation

• Support establishing KPIs to improve productivity and inventory accuracy

• Ensure compliance to 3M Financial Standards, SOX and other regulations

• Participate in projects related to inventory control

• Engage in ad-hoc activities such as internal/external audit, tax audit, etc.

  Your Skills and Expertise

  To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)

• One (1) year experience in Inventory Control or Supply Chain.

  Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) certification or willingness to obtain (CPIM-Certified in Production and Inventory Management; CSCP-Certified Supply Chain Professional.

• Experience with SAP (includes Government/Military modules developed by SAP).

• Three years of experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain in a private, public, government or military environment.

  Travel: May include up to 5%

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $72,681 - $88,832, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
