Adecco US, Inc. Accounting Manager in Cookeville, Tennessee

Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturing client to recruit and hire an Accounting Manager in the Cookeville, TN area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting (AP, AR, payroll, general ledger).

  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and KPIs.

  • Manage month-end and year-end close.

  • Develop budgets and forecasts.

  • Conduct cost accounting and identify savings opportunities.

  • Ensure GAAP and regulatory compliance.

  • Lead audits and address findings.

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff.

  • Support plant management with financial insights.

  • Enhance internal controls and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Associate’s Degree required.

  • 8+ years accounting experience

  • 2+ years of management experience

  • CPA/CMA highly preferred

  • Manufacturing Industry background preferred

  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting and GAAP.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.

Our client offers:

  • Base salary in the 90k-110k range

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
