EnerSys Electrical Engineering Intern in Commack, New York

Compensation Range:20.00-25.00/hr
Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.
Assist Electrical Engineer on any designated projects or processes.
- Build and assemble product prototype units.
- Build and assemble test fixtures.
- Perform test procedures to validate new designs.
- Perform test procedures to validate new software versions.
- Troubleshoot new designs under supervision.
- Create or modify test procedures.
- Design parts of a battery or charger product.
- Assist in the resolution of production issues.
- Perform feasibility study of new design approaches.
- Completed 3 years of study towards a bachelor's degree in electrical/computerengineering bachelor's degree
- Previous internship experience in a project team environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
