Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This role involves working within our AP Automation system to achieve a target of processing 100 invoices per day.
Responsibilities
Process 100 invoices per day, including posting invoices, confirming drop ship invoices, and sending service invoices to branch managers.
Reach out to resolve discrepancies in invoices.
Handle vendor correspondence and maintain positive vendor relationships.
Communicate with the sales department to rectify discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices.
Prepare and manage statements and reports.
Collaborate with the team on monthly reports.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in accounts payable processes.
Experience with accounting and SAP.
Strong communication skills.
Analytical abilities to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with SAP is a plus.
Good communication and analytical skills.
Work Environment
Work within our AP Automation system. The role involves regular interaction with vendors and the sales department. The work environment is collaborative, with team efforts on monthly reports. Professional attire is required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
