Accounts Payable Specialist

Must be local to Columbus, Ohio

Job Description

Work to ensure vendor set-up and payables are paid accurately and on-time. Responsible for all data entry on accounts payable, reconciling vendor statements, printing payable checks, and preparing them for approval. Assist the Accounting Manager to ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements including MIS. Analyze, reconcile, and balance the general ledger. File and maintain organized records. This position will work closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure all necessary accounting tasks are completed. Assist with Human Resources tasks as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure vendor set-up and payables are paid accurately and on-time.

  • Responsible for all data entry on accounts payable.

  • Reconcile vendor statements, print payable checks, and prepare them for approval.

  • Assist the Accounting Manager with the preparation of financial statements including MIS.

Work Environment

Corporate office space at the Columbus Services and Sales center. Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM with a 1-hour lunch.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
