Description
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process with accuracy and efficiency. As a skilled professional, your expertise will contribute to maintaining compliance and improving financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and code invoices, while ensuring proper approvals and company policy compliance.
Prepare and execute payment runs (checks, ACH, and wire transfers).
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Assist with month-end close by providing accounts payable reports and information.
Requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience in accounts payable or a related role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
