Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining various equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and production-related equipment. Your tasks will include troubleshooting mechanical and/or electrical breakdowns, adjusting or fabricating mechanical and/or electrical parts using hand and machine tools which may require welding and other fastening methods. Additionally, you will prepare and submit work orders, and maintenance reports.
Hard Skills
Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical breakdowns
Adjusting or fabricating mechanical and electrical parts
Proficiency with drill press, mills, lathes, surface grinders, sharpeners, welders, cutting torch, arbor press, hydraulic press, saws, man lifts, lock outs, precision measuring tools, multi-meters
Soft Skills
- Ability to work in a very dirty and dusty environment
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Columbia, Tennessee.
Work Environment
Both indoor and outdoor environment - VERY dirty and dusty
