Mississippi Employer Asset Management Asst. in Columbia, Mississippi

·        Support all aspects of the Asset Management and Compliance areas which involves communicating with customers and bank employees. 

·        Receive and process garnishments, subpoenas, and levies.

·        Research deposit accounts and loan histories.

·        Placing holds on accounts with garnishments, preparing and mailing letters to customers, communication with customers by phone.

·        Prepare training agendas.

·        Assist in preparation of documents for Board of Directors approval.

·        Research overdrawn checking accounts, prepare documents on accounts that will be charged off, contact customers regarding their accounts.

·        Responsible for ensuring that assigned duties are completed accurately and timely.

 

 

Education/Work experience:

 

·        High school diploma or equivalent required.

·        Two years banking experience preferred.

 

·        Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, detail oriented, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to multi-task, self-motivated and able to work independently.
