POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

LOCATION: 7223 Lee DeforestDrive, Columbia, MD 21046
TITLE: SoftwareEngineer II – ServiceNow
HOURS: Monday toFriday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
DUTIES: Workswith various ServiceNow technologies including Custom Applications, Workflows,Integration, configuration, Customization, Orchestration. Maintain ServiceNowworkflows and records creation methods. Implements vendor plug-ins from theServiceNow Store. Participates in new development, modification of thefront-end, business logic, and integrate with Web API/ Web services. Providessupport, maintains and improves existing applications. Contributes torequirements-gathering and technical design of applications. Troubleshoots andsolves problems as necessary. Follows source code and project tracking usingServiceNow, MS Team Foundation Server or GIT. Adheres to the Company’s design,development, test, implementation, and maintenance standards. Participates inproject status meetings, as required, and provides project status updates.Coaches and mentors junior development team members in design, coding,continuous integration, and agile development methodologies. Performs otherduties as assigned/necessary.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree inIT, Engineering, or related.
Two(2) years in any occupation with experience in IT, Engineering, or related.Must include: Testing terminology; Experience with Servicenow, JavaScript, and object-orienteddesign principles; Relational database skills using SQL Server, reportdevelopment using ServiceNow, and Windows Server; Experience with consumingAPIs and Web services; TSQL Programming experience; Software engineering bestpractices for the full software development life cycle: including codingstandards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing,and operations.
SALARY: $139,610 - $140,610 per year
