Overview

Manages the coordination of warehouse operations, encompassing the receiving of product, inventory control, inventory distribution, storage, and destruction of warehouse goods and products, along with the daily management of all employees. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in distribution automation.

On-site position located at our Colonie, NY location.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the operations of multiple pick and pack stations at 2 facilities, ensuring timely shipping and minimizing damages.

  • Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods using inventory control skills.

  • Works with Instant Ticket Sr. Manager to gain understanding of materials needs

  • Work and Cultivate relationship with our primary shipper UPS and coordinating daily pickups

  • Supervises and schedules daily activities of the warehouse staff as well as all warehouse PTO

  • Ensures documentation accurately portrays the efficiency of department/individual performance and prepares/submits various reports to management as needed.

  • Develops and implements procedures that ensure the accuracy of transactions, security of inventory, and cost effectiveness and efficiency of operations

  • Responsible for the hiring, evaluating, development and disciplinary action of staff as needed

  • Uses effective verbal and written communication with team members, internal management, customer personnel and vendors, as needed

  • Support NY Lottery staff with requests to send supplies and Promo orders statewide

  • Interacts with vendors to complete equipment repair and maintenance

  • Provide weekly Reports for key performance drivers at all levels of responsibilities from total business to individual contributor

  • At times may require weekend oversight of staff during peak times

  • Responsible for all safety aspects of the Warehouse while following OSHA regulation requirements

  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • BA or equivalent

  • 10 years of work experience; 5 years of related warehouse environment (preferably management) experience is required

  • 2-5+ Years of Warehouse distribution automation.

  • Candidate must have knowledge and comfort with automation process and technology experience for warehousing

  • Previous supervisory experience required

  • Forklift, Pallet jack training experience required

  • Must have excellent outlook, excel, power point and word skills as well as be able to use industry specific software, company intranet for training and time entry and approval and vendor internet software

  • Must have professional verbal, written communication and presentation skills, ability to troubleshoot technical problems, good judgment and decision-making, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and able to multi-task

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $58,500 - $110,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
