Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team based in Collierville, Tennessee. The role involves handling customer inquiries, maintaining records, and overseeing customer accounts. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our financial department, with the potential for growth into a supervisory role.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the processing of invoices and ensure accurate data entry
• Handle account reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate records
• Supervise check runs to guarantee timely and correct payments
• Utilize software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel for efficient financial management
• Ensure accuracy in coding invoices for the appropriate expenses
• Take charge of the accounts payable function, ensuring all financial obligations are met
• Maintain the general ledger and contribute to the overall financial health of the team
• Handle customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate responses
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Play a key role in the potential supervision of a team. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, ensuring accurate and timely management of all accounts.
• Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP), showcasing a deep understanding of the process and its complexities.
• Ability to conduct Check Runs, indicating a high level of attention to detail.
• Experience with Coding Invoices, testifying to a strong grasp of financial coding systems.
• Proficient in Data Entry, highlighting the ability to accurately input and manage large volumes of data.
• Expertise in Invoice Processing, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the procedures involved.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, signaling an ability to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
• Familiarity with Oracle, reflecting an understanding of this widely-used database management system.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, showcasing the ability to manage financial and business processes efficiently.
• Experience with SAP, indicating familiarity with one of the leading enterprise application software in the market.
• Knowledge of General Ledger, demonstrating understanding of a company's financial records and transactions.
