Overview

The Corporate Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing professional and courteous

assistance

while managing front desk operations. Reporting to the Office Manager, this role includes handling phone calls, directing guests, processing mail, and performing administrative tasks to support the organization.

Responsibilities

Welcome and

assist

visitors, clients, and vendors, ensuring a professional and friendly reception experience.

Answer and direct phone calls efficiently, providing basic information and taking messages when necessary.

Maintain an up-to-date awareness of staff movements in and out of the office.

Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and preparing courier deliveries.

Perform general administrative tasks, including word processing, document preparation, and office supply inventory management.

Oversee office equipment maintenance, coordinating service requests for copiers, coffee machines, and other facilities as needed.

Manage security system access by adding and removing employees as

required

.

Set up wireless internet access for guests.

Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.

Support office relocations and other facility-related tasks.

Serve as a backup for the Office Manager when needed.
