Pilgrim's WATER RESOURCE OPERATOR - AFTERNOON SHIFT - RESUME REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION in Cold Spring, Minnesota

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Follows all work safety policies/guidelines

  • Operates water treatment facility in the most economical and efficient manner in accordance with company, MN Dept of Health and Minnesota Pollution Control Agency standards.

  • Performs in-plant lab testing to obtain accurate and consistence results.

  • Conducts preventative maintenance program on all equipment keeping it in good working order at all times to assure continuous operation.

  • Perform maintenance on all equipment including repairing, installing and rebuilding as necessary.

  • Basic knowledge of Membrane Bio Reactor System

  • Assist in maintaining grounds.

  • Other duties as directed by the supervisor or manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

  • Class D water and wastewater license.

  • Working skill in Water Treatment plant operations.

  • Working knowledge of chemical analysis procedures

  • Working knowledge of computer usage

  • Considerable ability to lift heavy objects (up to 40 pounds)

  • Working skills in maintenance and repair

  • Ability to maintain accurate records.

  • Ability to work rotating shifts.

  • Ability to work independently

  • Excellent attendance required.
