Cognizant Sr. Product Test Specialist in COIMBATORE, India
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Test Lead with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our Team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Life and Annuities Insurance domain with COTS Product SME knowledge in PMACS. This role requires a hybrid work model with day shifts.
Responsibilities
Lead the testing efforts for COTS product - PMACS ensuring high-quality deliverables. Provide expertise in Life and annuities domain with SME knowledge in Compensation LOB - Licensing Authority Security Appointments Commission Chargeback etc. Possess expertise in COTS Admin -Cycle planning Transaction processing Post Batch validation etc. - Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and design test strategies. - Execute automated and manual tests to ensure product functionality and performance. - Identify document and track defects and issues ensuring timely resolution. - Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing. - Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure product stability. - Communicate test results and progress to stakeholders effectively. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality. - Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on testing best practices. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing team. Qualifications - Possess SME knowledge in PMACS and COTS Admin. - Strong in Life and Annuities domain and Compensation LOB. - Possess strong technical skills in Java/Selenium with CI/CD like Gitlab Jenkins Bamboo. - Have extensive knowledge in concepts of framework with creation and modification. - Have exposure to SQL queries. - Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Show a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. - Have the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model. - Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
