DESCRIPTION Michael Baker International is seeking a talented Senior Rail Bridge Project Manager with a specialization in bridge design,to help make a difference in our Rail and Transit Practice. In this role, you will report to the Director of Rail Bridge in Cleveland, OH. Per your preference, we offer flexibility to work hybrid, fully remote, or onsite in any of our 100+ office locations nationwide. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience on design projects for Class I railroads and/or rail transit agencies and be able to support projects and offices across the country for railroads, transit agencies, and DOTs. This position will also have staff management responsibilities for Rail/ Bridge projects. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviews project proposal or plan to determine scope, time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
• Management of staff on Rail Bridge projects, support and mentorship of junior Engineers.
• Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
• Develops/implements project plans/methodologies for complex projects, varying between single and multi-discipline practices.
• Confers with project staff to outline workplan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority; manages the resources of the project.
• Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
• Perform analysis of project management development and success in order to align with company goals and strategies.
• Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.
• Prepares project reports for management, client, or others, and performs cost management analysis.
• Develops and maintains client engagement to ensure satisfaction.
• Leverages project successes to win future projects.
• Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
• Coordinates project activities with other railroad departments and projects
