MetroHealth Medical Assistant- Multi-Specialty Clinic, West 150th, 80 Hours in CLEVELAND, Ohio
Location: METROHEALTH OUTPT SURGERY CTR
Biweekly Hours: 80.00
Shift: 0700-2000, varying start times

Summary:
Performs general clerical/reception duties for the MetroHealth Outpatient Surgery Center. Performs patient care duties for infant through geriatric patients under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required: High school diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Six months to one-year experience (externships included). Must be familiar with data entry. Knowledge of basic medical procedures, medical terminology and ability to communicate well with patients and staff is essential. Good interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate good judgement, flexibility, initiative, and have ability to problem solve. Preferred: Two years of relevant work experiences and/or education.
Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
