Ohio Means Jobs Cleveland-Cuyahoga County is sourcing for a Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing company in Lakewood. Maintenance Technician Starting pays $26 + Shift Premium 3rd Shift 10pm-6am What You'll Do As a mechanic: • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and general machinery. • Rebuilding and or repairing machines or assemblies to original operating conditions. • Complete PM work and/or documentation of product equipment or processes. • Fabricate, weld, or machine parts as required. • Communicate, discuss and/or review repair problems with Engineering, the Tool Room, Production Team Leads or vendors as needed. Who You Are • Previous industrial maintenance experience through either education or hands on experience • Familiar with cold heading, hot forging and roll thread equipment a plus • Ability to use various measuring devices (torque wrench, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators etc.) • Must be able to operate basic maintenance equipment (saw, crane, shear, tow motor, roller, etc.) • Ability to read, write, and understand written specifications, procedures and prints. • Must possess excellent mechanical aptitude and above average hand dexterity. • Must be able to operate lift truck and comfortable in moderate to heavy physical effort environment (lift up to 75lbs, bends, twists & turns, reach lower than knee, push and pull, squat and kneel) What You'll Receive • Medical, dental, life, vision, wellness program, disability, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off and tuition reimbursement. Pay $26-$28 per hour. What we are looking for: • Must be self-motivated, safety and quality conscious, and must work efficiently with minimal supervision. Candidates will perform background check, drug test and have a driver license. • Must be able to work 3rd shift Sunday-Thursday Physical Requirements • Moderate to heavy physical effort required. • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. • Frequently lift 11- 50 lbs. • Occasionally lift 51-100 lbs. • Frequently bends, twists & turns, reach lower than knee, push and pull, squat and kneel. • Lifts above shoulder occasionally. • Must be able to operate lift truck -- climb on and off truck, steer and use hand operated levers to control.
