Honeywell Advanced Electrical Engineer in Clearwater, Florida
As an Advanced Electrical Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in guiding the design and development of complex electrical systems and components. You will provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects. You will also be accountable for conducting feasibility studies, analyzing technical requirements, and implementing electrical engineering strategies and best practices.
You will report directly to our Sr. Engineering Manager, and you will work out of our Clearwater, FL location. This role is eligible for hybrid work mode, except for the first 90 days.
In this role, you will have a direct impact on the company's ability to deliver high-quality, innovative, and technologically advanced electrical engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities
Guide the design and development of complex electrical systems and components
Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams
Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical requirements
Develop and implement electrical engineering strategies and best practices
Ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards
Manage project budgets and timelines
Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation and continuous improvement

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
6+ years of experience in electrical engineering
Proven track record of successfully guiding complex electrical engineering projects
Strong knowledge of electrical design ethics and practices
Proficiency in electrical design software and tools
Excellent problem-solving and thoughtful skills
Effective communication and people-oriented skills
