Job Summary: The Shipping Clerk is responsible for all material movements and transactions as well as assisting in all activities related to prepping and shipping goods from the facility. The Shipping Clerk closely collaborates and communicates with the Warehouse Supervisor and Contracts on the status of outgoing shipments.

  1. Prepares goods for pickup at the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor.
  2. Receives inbound freight.
  3. Updates shipping log daily and pipe log as needed.
  4. Completes hardware pulls and issuances as required to complete shipping prep activities.
  5. Maintains accurate freight in/out log books at the bunkers.
  6. Completes shipping labels and verifications as required.
  7. Conducts verifications of stored goods as required.
  8. Utilizes computer and inventory systems to record and/or track parts and products.
  9. Holds a HAZMAT Shipping Certificate within six (6) months of hire.
  10. Drives company vehicle and operates forklift as required.
  11. Completes daily forklift inspections.
  12. Performs other work related duties as assigned, including during employee absences.

  1. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States (ITAR restrictions).
  2. Must be at least 18 years of age to work at this facility.
  3. Must be eligible to possess explosives under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003 (as amended) as required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) for all employees of Tech Ord.
